Read more →RAF Waddington ARC ran a Special Event Station on the weekend of 10-11 August 2024 as part of the Salute to the 40s Weekend event at the International Bomber Command Centre, Lincoln. The callsign used was GB6IBC, as is usual at IBCC, and we were operational between 08:00-17:00 BST on both days. Operation was on HF (40 and 20m SSB), and 2m FM.

Read more →Members of RAF Waddington Amateur Radio Club were on the air for the “Wings and Wheels” event at the International Bomber Command Centre this Sunday, 3rd September, using the callsign GB6IBC. We made a number of contacts with radio amateurs and would like to thank all the stations who took the time to contact us. We were also able to promote amateur radio to the many members of the publlic who visitied the station during the day!
