RAF Waddington ARC held it’s first Special Event Station at RAF Binbrook for Airfields on the Air. A great event, but poor conditions minimised the number of contacts. The event being the first of the year gave the team the opportunity to familiarise themselves with some new equipment.
The club is fortunate to have free access to a 55ft cherry picker. It is used as a tower at some events and is invaluable for antenna maintenance.
