Until March 1999 the RAF Waddington ARC held its meetings at Royal Air Force Waddington, 5 miles south of Lincoln Cathedral. With the large expansion of air base personnel, room on the camp became a premium and numerous RAF clubs relocated off base. The club now meets at the Pyewipe Inn, 2 miles west of Lincoln Cathedral.
The club enjoys a dedicated 20 square metre shack within the Pyewipe’s grounds, with an abundance of space available for the erection and use of many different antennae.
The club room and equipment is set up to be able to operate in all modes and is open to all who are interested in any aspect of radio communication, whether ex-service or not.
Club meetings are held on Thursday night from 19:30. There is a regular weekly club net on the air every Monday from 19:30; you can find us either on GB3LM or on 145.325MHz.
