RAF Waddington ARC returned to the International Bomber Command Centre on Sunday, 1st September for the centre’s Wings and Wheels event..

We used the callsign GB6IBC, as is usual at IBCC, operating between 09:00 - 16:00 BST. Operation was on HF (40 and 20m SSB), and 2m FM, but contacts were a little hard to come by!

However, the event was attended by significant numbers of the public, giving us the chance to showcase amateur radio, while supporting the educational work of the centre. The contacts we did make have been acknowledged on QRZ.com.
